• Chosen by God (Eph. 1:3–6): Believers are chosen and adopted as children of God.

• Sealed by the Spirit (Eph. 1:13–14): The Holy Spirit is our guarantee of inheritance.
• Called to know God better (Eph. 1:15–19): Paul prays believers understand their hope, inheritance, and God's power.

• Spiritually dead in sin (Eph. 2:1–3): We were brought out of spiritual death.
• Made alive in Christ (Eph. 2:4–5): God transformed us through His mercy and love.
• Saved by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8–9): Salvation is God's gift, not something earned.
• God's workmanship/masterpiece (Eph. 2:10): We are saved to live out good works God has purposed for us.
• Wall of hostility broken (Eph. 2:11–18): Christ broke down the division between Jews and Gentiles.
• One family/body of Christ (Eph. 2:19–22): We are members of God's household and spiritual temple.

"The Unfathomable Riches of Christ" (Our Purpose)
Chapter 3 deals with why God brought believers together and what He wants to accomplish through them. In short: "We are built to serve Christ."

• Mystery of Christ revealed (Eph. 3:1–6): Jews and Gentiles are united as equal co-heirs in one body through the gospel.
• Paul’s stewardship of grace (Eph. 3:7–9): Paul was called to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ to all.
• God’s wisdom on display (Eph. 3:10–13): The unified church displays God's manifold wisdom to heavenly rulers.
• Strengthened by the Spirit (Eph. 3:14–16): Paul prays that believers are empowered with inner strength through the Spirit.
• Rooted in Christ's love (Eph. 3:17): Christ dwells in our hearts as we anchor our lives in His love.
• Comprehending endless love (Eph. 3:18–19): Believers are called to experience the vast dimensions of Christ’s love.
• God’s unlimited power (Eph. 3:20–21): God works immeasurably beyond all we can ask or imagine.

"Walk Worthy of Your Calling" (Our Practice in Christ)

• Walk in unity and humility (Eph. 4:1–3): Our daily conduct must reflect our high calling through patience and peace.
• One foundation of faith (Eph. 4:4–6): All believers are united under one Body, Spirit, Hope, Lord, Faith, Baptism, and Father.
• Equipped for service (Eph. 4:7–13): Christ gives leaders and spiritual gifts so the church grows to full maturity.
• Anchored in truth and love (Eph. 4:14–16): Maturing in Christ protects us from false teaching as every part does its work.
• Put off the old self (Eph. 4:17–22): Abandon the former way of life marked by spiritual darkness and sinful desires.
• Put on the new self (Eph. 4:23–24): Allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind to live in righteousness and truth.
• Live out your identity (Eph. 4:25–32): Replace sin and bitterness with truth, honest work, gracious words, and forgiveness.

→ Key summary: Ephesians 4 calls us to put doctrine into practice by walking in unity, growing to spiritual maturity, and living out our transformed life.
