Titus 2:3-5: gives a biblical model for mentoring “3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, 4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.” Therefore, we invite you to join us and experience a wonderful encounter with God as you serve as a mentor or mentee.

Mission Statement

The mission of the S.A.L.T. is to give the opportunity for Sistas to advise and learn together as we attempt to bridge the gap across the generations. We do this while providing an opportunity for all women to experience the joys and blessings of getting to know their fellow Sisters in Christ!

Our ministry is built on the Biblical principles of the Holy Bible. We use the Titus 2:3-5 model for mentoring, training, and growing as women of God.

Ministry Requirements

Our vision is to facilitate and build relationships between the mentor, mentee and the Holy Spirit in order to:

Open the door for women 18 and up to be advised and learn from older women as described in the Titus 2 model.
Bridge the gap in the women's ministry, through service, evangelism, and support for our younger and older women.
Consistently provide comfort, support and encouragement through God’s Word, prayer, trainings, and fellowship.
Embody the mothering /mentor relationships necessary to facilitate growth in the Kingdom.
Facilitate activities and fellowship that focuses on the woman's mind, body, and spirit.

Have a desire to be accessible, approachable, and attentive.
Mentor: To be willing to attend trainings and use life experiences to walk with God, encourage, advise, and assist other women.
Mentee: To be willing to be encouraged and supported in your Christian walk by another Christian woman.
